Get to know the Salsa camera

The SALSA is a unique instrument designed for light analysis. It measures all the Stokes polarization information for each pixel of an image, in real time. For application ranging from target detection and identification to 3D reconstruction and robotic vision, it provides novel and unprecedented visual information.
This specific Salsa has been calibrated for 8 wavelengths: 420nm, 440nm, 450nm, 490nm, 510nm, 546nm, 600nm and 675nm to provide a complete spectral analysis of light polarization. Utilizing unique software, this plug and play automated system provides direct polarization measurements. Its 35mm wide angle lens combined with an adjustable aperture, electronic gain and exposure provides clear and detailed polarization image analysis of both close and distant objects.
